Several researchers from the Centre for Forestry Studies (Centro de Estudos Florestais – CEF) were highlighted in the 3rd edition of the Research.com ‘Best Scientists’ ranking in various categories.
Researchers Teresa Ferreira and Maria da Conceição Caldeira are on the list of the best researchers in ‘Ecology and Evolution’, José Miguel Cardoso Pereira and Margarida Tomé were highlighted in the ‘Environmental Sciences’ category, Helena Pereira is on the list of the best researchers in the ‘Biology and Biochemistry’ area and researcher José Cochicho Ramalho reinforced the excellence of CEF’s research with his presence in this ranking in the ‘Plant Science and Agronomy’ area. Also in the ‘Plant Science and Agronomy’ category, Professor João Santos Pereira, a former CEF member, secured the notable 1st position in Portugal.
