Prevention and Fight against Harassment in the Workplace

The University of Lisbon has a policy of non-tolerance towards the practice of any form of harassment. The Code of Conduct for Preventing and Combating Harassment at the University of Lisbon establishes a set of principles and guidelines that must be observed when carrying out activities.

The purpose of this Code is to establish an organizational culture that values equality and respect, ensuring that all recipients are aware of which behaviours are acceptable and which are not. It applies to all University of Lisbon employees, regardless of the public employment relationship to which they are subject, students, scholarship holders, trainees, other similar or equivalent relationships, service providers and all natural or legal persons who maintain professional, commercial or other relationships with the University of Lisbon, even if they are temporary.
