Informations for Application to the 1st Cycle 2023-2024
Access routes
After high school conclusion, students wishing to attend a degree at ISA must apply through the National Admission Concourse to Higher Education (CNAES), formulating its application in Access to Higher Education Offices of the Ministry of Education and Science .

- A course change is an enrollment on a course different from the one in which the student previously enrolled, in the same or another higher education institution, with or without interruption of enrollment in a higher education course.
- A transfer is the enrollment on a course with the same name but in a different higher education institution from the one the student is or has been registered, with or without interruption of enrollment in a higher education course.
- A readmission is the act by which a student, after an interruption of studies in a particular course and higher education institution, registers in the same institution and in the same course or in another that has befallen it.
- To the Special Admission Concourse intended for Holders of University Courses may apply holders of university courses, namely PhD degree, master's degree, 5 year degree ("licenciatura") and bachelor's degree ("bacharelato").
Students who are in one of the following conditions are eligible for special access contidions, under the terms established by the Portuguese law:
- Portuguese officials on a diplomatic mission abroad and the family members who accompany them;
- Fellows Portuguese citizens abroad or civil servants on official mission abroad and the family members who accompany them;
- Officials in the Portuguese Armed Forces, while fulfilling specific training needs of the Armed Forces;
- National scholarship students from African Portuguese speaking countries, in the framework of cooperation agreements signed by the Portuguese State;
- Foreign employees of diplomatic missions accredited in Portugal and their families residing here, on a reciprocal basis;
- Practitioner athletes with high competition status or integrated in the path of high competition, to which Decree-Law No. 125/95, of May 31st referrs to, amended by Decree-Law No. 123/96, August 10th, regulated by Ordinance No. 947/95, of August 1st;
- Naturals and their natural children of the territory of East Timor.

(*) This degree, coordinated by the School of Arts and Humanities, was created to allow the integration of knowledge in Arts, Humanities, and Sciences. It combines a common core with a wide range of subjects and specializations from eleven schools, faculties, or institutes of the University of Lisbon, which includes the School of Agriculture. These subjects and specializations are selected by the student, according to their interests and career goals. This Course is characterized by the flexibility in choosing the academic path, with the possibility of different specializations and different perspectives of professional opportunities.
