The School of Agriculture (ISA), Universidade de Lisboa is, in Portugal, the largest and most qualified graduate school in Agricultural and Forestry Sciences. With more than 160 years of experience, ISA benefits from the unique conditions of the Tapada da Ajuda Campus for applied teaching that follows the technological evolution and the reality of the country. The focus is on quality and modernization of it.

We prepare our students in the field of forest sciences in order to train professionals with specialized knowledge to plan and sustainably manage (agro-)forest ecosystems mitigating the effects of climate change (ex, fires, pests and drought) ensuring the production of goods, including game and fish resources, the enhancement of ecosystem services ensuring the conservation of wild fauna and flora through sustainable use. The MSc degree in Forest Engineering and Natural Resources intends to establish a bridge between the Forest and Society supported by new technologies combined with technical-scientific knowledge to face future challenges.
In the Campus of Tapada da Ajuda you can study in an environment with 100 ha, within the city of Lisbon, which harmoniously combines teaching areas, agricultural crops, a forest nursery, a park and botanical reserve, including two arboretums one of eucalyptus and another of the project REINFFORCE.
