A study plan adjusted to the areas of interest. Application of science to forestry and resources management...
The MSc in Forest Engineering and Natural Resources, is a 2-year duration course with the following structure:
14 modules
Spread over 3 semesters, modules are focused on the various essential aspects of sustainable resources' management and their challenges.
The student may select 2 optional modules, one in each year, out of a set of available modules that may or may not take place depending on the number of enrolled students. These modules aim to diversify the training in particular areas of interest.
84 credits
MSc Thesis

Throughout the 3 semesters students find a selection of modules that address the THEORETICAL-PRACTICAL CONCEPTS related to various aspects of resource management from fire ecology and management to inland waters management, through the wildlife management and through the pest management.
The application of ANALYSIS TOOLS such as remote sensing, operations research, statistics and modeling of forest resources will be constant in all semesters.
The range of modules also includes subjects such as ecosystem functioning, genetics and breeding, vegetation monitoring with UAVs and LiDAR and forest products.
