Environmental Education

Environment awareness is understood to be a wide range form of education, towards all citizens, achieved through an active and lifelong learning programme that tries to instill in the learner a critical appreciation of the problems affecting the environment perceiving as criticism the capacity of assimilating the genesis and evolution of environmental issues.

Every year at ISA we organize several Environment Awareness activities. The main body responsible for this process is the Centre for Applied Ecology "Professor Baeta Neves".
