The Ajuda's Botanical Garden celebrates for the 11th consecutive year, the spring in the next April 26th and 27th, with the hope of good weather with pleasant temperatures, after so many days of winter.
To the beautiful displays of flowers and plants brought by producers and associations (orchids, bromeliads, carnivorous, cacti and other succulents, ...) join the workshops (herbs, basic gardening techniques, pruning and cleaning of ornamental trees, ...). The trade of plants and gardening products complements associated with the trade of natural products such as dried fruit, honey and jams. The whole weekend will had plenty of music, emphasizing the view of the Charanga by Horse by the our Police Forces, by 12pm on Saturday, June 26. On both days there will be guided tours and many thematic games.

This edition is sponsored by Herdade da Comporta, GNR, Delta Cafés and Junta de Freguesia da Ajuda and collaboration of the Associação Portuguesa de Orquidofilia, Associação dos Amigos do Jardim Botânico da Ajuda, Viveiro das Naus, Plantagri, Bromélias do Brejo, Flor de Murta, Aria Jardins and Herb Pack, among others.

Previous editions had acknowledged success as a result of all the activities offered to the population around the passion for botany, plants and flowers.

The Spring Festival is also a good reason for a walk through the Ajuda's Botanical Garden.
Entry costs € 2.0 in the Garden by making access both the Calçada da Ajuda and the Calçada do Galvão.
