Study Rooms

There are at ISA several spaces and rooms, including the up-to-date ISA Library, dedicated to individuals studying, as well as group work, that can be used by students.

All those spaces are covered by the eduroam wireless network. In some of them there are, as well, access to computer hardware.

Agrolivro Bookstore

Agrolivro Bookstore

Agrolivro bookshop offers a diversified choice of published material in the fields of Agrisciences and Landscape Architecture, as well as other kind of works. They can be purchased on the spot or by order, and students have a 10% discount.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 13:00 / 14:00 to 17:00.

Eating Places

There is a canteen at ISA, managed by UTL Social Services department, with a capacity for 232 seated people. For further details refer to the following page at SAS website:

Besides the cafeteria one can find coffee bars at the Main Building (open till 20:30), Library and Forestry Engineering block. Still in Tapada da Ajuda, and next to the rugby field, is the well-known restaurant "A Pateira".

In Ajuda Botanical Garden and set up in a 18th century greenhouse, there is the "Estufa Real" restaurant.

UTL Medical Centre

ULisboa Medical Centre

Since 11th February 2013 all the UTL community can find the Medical Centre at Polo da Ajuda, within CEDAR facilities.

In a modernistic and renovated space, UTL Medical Centre offers the following services:

  • General Practice - Family Planning - Ophthalmology
  • Dentistry
  • Psychology
  • Office for Student Psychological Assistance (GAP)
  • Other medical specialities consultations (soon)
  • Disturbances in Child and Teenager Development (soon)

One innovation is, actually, the availability of dentistry consultations that allows everyone to have a free oral screening. Detailed information in the following webpage:
