ISA students paint walls and clean Tapada da Ajuda
The 2nd edition of the "Vamos Limpar a Tapada", organized by ISA - School of Agriculture, AEISA - ISA Studentes Association, NAISA - ISA Environment Students Core and APEF - Portuguese Association of Forestry Students, told with a large membership of Students, having also collaborated Teachers, Researchers, Non Teaching staff out of ISA and other ULisboa Schools, Residents in Tapada da Ajuda, former ISA students and ordinary citizens.
This year, the initiative was a novelty: painting the walls of Tapada da Ajuda adjacent to Gate Bridge (ensured by Students Rodrigo Figueiredo and Pedro Frias) and next to Rua Jau's Gate (ensured by João Menezes Students and Renato Ferreira).
Was also intense the cleaning of sites identified as priorities this year, where the helpfulness and willingness to make Tapada da Ajuda (ISA campus) a more pleasant place, were notorious in all teams.
Some few volunteers want to return to participate in the 3rd edition of "Vamos Limpar a Tapada" for the next year, aware of the need for such interventions, given the environmental pressure suffered by Tapada da Ajuda, given their openness to the community and its various uses than just education and research.
