Spanish Study Abroad Program
The Spanish Study Abroad Program of the Public University of Navarre (UPNA), Pamplona, Spain, will be held from the 10th to the 28th of June 2019.
This course is intended for students with an intermediate level of Spanish (≈ Level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) who wish to improve their language skills and at the same time get a closer contact with Spanish diverse culture and society.
Spanish Study Abroad Program is worth 6 ECTS credits (3 U.S. credits), although students may arrange additional ones with their home institutions, given the large number of hours scheduled in it.
The course is focused on grammatical matters, communicative activities and cultural aspects of the country. In addition to lecture time, we have planned visits to the Navarra Museum, the Pamplona Cathedral and the city markets.

Pamplona is one of the safest cities of Spain and has unbelievable surroundings. All the students that might decide to join the course will have the opportunity to visit and enjoy wonderful places as Urederra River Source, Olite´s Palace, Belagua, Roncesvalles (way of St. James), Xorroxin waterfall, and more! I encourage you to check these places out (see links below).
In addition, Pamplona is close to San Sebastian, home of the International Cinema Festival and well known for its innovative and delicious gastronomy, and to the south French frontier. The students will have plenty of opportunities to have a lot of fun and relax while putting into practice their language improvements and enriching their overall knowledge.
