Marie Skłodowska Curie Meet-Up 2019 - USPC Call for proposals
MSCA Meet-up 2019: Apply for a visit in Paris and build a successful project with a world-leading research team!
Are you a post-doc or experienced researcher and would you like to widen your experience with a stay in a French research unit? Are you ready for a new challenge and an international career? Do you want to broaden your network and position yourself as an independent researcher? Then you may join for 24 or 36 months one of Université Sorbonne Paris Cité’s world class research units on a Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant.
On 17 and 18 June, 2019, we invite you to visit your prospective host institution and laboratory, meet interested supervisors and benefit from training to write your Fellowship proposal for the European Commission.
The European Union’s competitive Marie Sklodowska Curie fellowships provide salary, a mobility allowance, and research costs. Through one of them, you can join one of our labs for up to two years, and be part of a world-class academic community in the heart of Paris. Provided you work in one of the our priority fields, you can apply to be part of the MSCA Meetup event in Paris on June.
The Marie Curie Meet-up is a two-day event in Paris, 17 & 18 June 2019:
- Day 1: welcome by the USPC European Research Network, specialized training on how to write "Individual
Fellowships" proposals and individual interviews with the Research manager of the host institution - Day 2: visit of the host laboratory and joint work with the supervisor
The grant will cover all the Marie Curie Meet Up event expenditures (travel, hotel and subsistence expenses for 2 days and 2 nights).
How to apply:
- check the list of priority fields, supervisor and lab in the Call for Proposals PDF
- Fill in the Manifestation of Interest form
- Send the completed Manifestation of Interest form by email to: packeuropeaccess@uspc.fr before 20 February 2019.
The deadline for submission is 20 February 2019, 17h00 (Paris time).
No proposals will be accepted after this submission deadline.
Results will be announced in April 2019.
Upon selection, we will provide you with air fare and accomodation to join the two-day event, which will include time to visit the laboratory and meet the supervisor, training to prepare your MSCA Fellowship application, and individual meetings with our ResearchGrants Advisors.
