The programme counts for 5 ECTS to add to your curriculum and will provide you with  

  • an insight into the main crop varieties that are commercialized as hybrids
  • an understanding of the scientific developments supplying new elements to create hybrids
  • an understanding of the legal restrictions regarding access to germplasm, biosafety and intellectual property rights

Certification requirements are:

  • Attend all courses;
  • Participate to the excursions;
  • Prepare and present case study in a satisfying way;
  • Pass a multiple choice examination
