2nd National Scientific Conference AGROLOGISTYKA 2014

The most important issues of food supply chains, which will be taken during the conference are:

  • Security and transparency of supply chains
  • The role of logistics in the development of biofuel production
  • The reverse logistics of by-products in the production of raw materials
  • The role of cooperatives in building supply chains
  • Technological and technical progress in logistics
  • The risks in the food supply chain
  • The role of logistics in sustainable development

The Scientific Forum has been scheduled for 9-13 September 2014 in Poznań, Poland. The theme of the Forum is "Efficient Logistics as a Chance of Efficient Consumer Response in the Agri-Food Sector."
Conference publications.
Abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings . After two positive reviews full papers will be published in one of three journals:

  • Journal of Agribusiness and Rural Development
  • Logistyka
  • Intercathedra

Apart from the plenary and thematic sessions a poster session is scheduled. The best posters will be awarded.
The official language of the Forum will be English but we have planned some sessions in Polish.

The Organising Committee will offer study trips to several prominent companies in the Poznań Region as part of the Forum programme.

In addition to the scientific programme the Local Organising Committee will offer an additional programme including a sightseeing tour of Poznań combined with a visit to the nearby castle in Kórnik.
