How to Apply
Instituto Superior de Agronomia (ISA) is delighted to welcome exchange students from all over the world and aim to help make your stay at our institution and in Lisbon as pleasent and rewarding as possible. The International Relations Office ff is available to provide help and assistance to all students interested in studying at our school.
All Erasmus+ students have to be nominated by their home University to ISA. Erasmus+ students should choose approximately five subjects per semester (approximately 10 subjects per academic year) so they are able to fulfill the requirements of 30 ECTS credits per semester (60 ECTS credits per academic year).
Portuguese is the official teaching language. The subjects from the 1st Cycle are lectured in Portuguese. The subjects from the 2nd Cycle are predominantly lectured in Portuguese - but there are some subjects that are entirely lectured in English, Students should consult the syllabus of each subject or the respective responsible Professors for more information.
Students will obtain ECTS credits in the subjects they sucessfully approve to at ISA which can be used for academic recognition at their home University. This possibility promotes academic mobility of students between different institutions, making it possible to use the credits obtained at ISA towards equivalences in their curriculum at the home institution
Students have to submit the following application documents:
- Fill in the Application Form;
- Attach a transcript of records with all the grades achieved at their home University so far. The document must be issued in English and stamped by the home institution;
- Fill in the Learning Agreement with the subjects you want to take during the mobility period. The subjects can be selected from different study programs, which curriculums can be found here and here . The Learning Agreement must be signed by the student and the person responsible at the home institution.
All documents should be sent by e-mail to ri@isa.ulisboa.pt .
The deadlines for submitting the application are:
- 30 May for mobilities duirng the 1st semester (Winter Semester) or for a full academic year;
