It took place on April 15, at the Municipal Auditorium of Albufeira, the seminar entitled "The fire risk in the urban-wildland interface: risks, society, forest and resilience." Our researchers Conceição Colaço and Liliana Bento contributed with the following communications: "The preparation of the communities to wildfires" and "The journalistic approach to wildfires."

The main objective of this seminar was the promotion of the increase of the resilience of the territory to wildfires and the analysis of their vulnerabilities, taking into account factors like the social perception, the human behavior and the house characteristics.
