The WWF Mediterranean Programme Portugal (WWFMedPO) that is a CEABN InBIO partner was given an award on the 4th of July by the Festival Terras Sem Sombra (Lands without shadow) in recognition of the work done on the conservation of the cork oak landscapes and Portuguese biodiversity.

The promoters considered WWF' work in Portugal "a reference on the conservation of priority ecosystems". The Festival Terras Sem Sombra occurs in the Alentejo region, south of Portugal and it is dedicated to classic music, patrimony and biodiversity.
