We seek collaborators interested in doing internship BSc, MSc, Erasmus or other in Centre for Applied Ecology – InBIO (Research Network in Biodiversity and Evolutionary Biology).
The selected persons will participate in a scientific project studying mortality and post-fire regeneration of cork oak (Quercus suber, national tree), and how various factors, including forest pests and post fire management, affect tree recovery and cork production.
This study is performed in collaboration with the Coruche Municipality (CMC), Observatory of Cork Oak and Cork (OSC), Forest Producers Association of Coruche (APFC), Forest Research Centre (CEF-ISA) and National Institute of Agricultural and Veterinary Research (INIAV).
