2ND PNAP CONFERENCE| 17 DECEMBER 2019

In the context of the implementation of the National Policy of Architecture and Landscape (PNAP), the Directorate-General of the Territory, in partnership with the Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage and with the participation of the Order of Architects and the Portuguese Association of Landscape Architects, organized the 2nd PNAP Conference, dedicated to the theme: Landscape and Architecture in the Valorization of the Territory.

This conference aimed to make a retrospective of the progress made in the implementation of the PNAP and to outline strategies for the future. The meeting, which took place in Lisbon at the National Museum of Ethnology, on December 17, 2019 was also an opportunity to disseminate research work in the areas of landscape, architecture and heritage enhancement, promoting dialogue and information sharing between academia, citizens and public administration.

This conference made known recent and innovative pilot projects in the context of the valorization of the territory, beginning the debate on the difficulties and solutions that converge to its implementation.

RECOVERY OF THE TAGUS RIVER | 7 DECEMBER 2019

On December 7, the PI of SCAPERIE was present, at the invitation, at the seminar for the recovery of the Tagus River and its tributaries with the presentation of communication “Forest and agriculture in water conservation”, presenting the contributions of the results of SCAPEFIRE. The seminar was promoted by the Association proTejo, municipality of Cartaxo and EcoCartaxo.
