The specifics of the Teachers Academic Gown of the former Technical University of Lisbon were published in Ordinance No. 11.170, of 1945 (Diário da República No. 256/I Series).

This is a Professorial Gown, not Doctoral, ie it can only be used by teachers of ISA/ULisboa, not by the school's PhDs.

It is common to have this costume made by an old tailor, located at Rua da Palma, No. 157 - 2nd Foor.
