On the 29th of September 2021 the ALNUS Team participated in a volunteering activity organized by the project
LIFE FLUVIAL (LIFE16 NAT/ES/000771) in the Paisagem Protegida das Lagoas de Bertiandos e São Pedro de Arcos
in the river Lima basin (North Portugal). This activity aimed to remove the exotic invasive plants occurring
in the riparian corridor, allowing the recovery of the natural vegetation in alder floodplain forests.
