The Forest Research Centre has won the Forest and Sustainability prize, promoted by CELPA, in the Science and Innovation category. The winning project, entitled "Alvares - a case of fire resilience" was developed by a multidisciplinary team with the objective of identifying measures and recommendations to reduce the vulnerability of the Alvares civil parish (Góis) to future wildfires.
