SUMARY
The objective of the doctoral thesis was to analyse the capacity of 2 advanced remote sensing technologies (airborne laser scanning (ALS) and very high resolution digital aerial imagery (DAP) from UAV) to provide methodologies and tools supporting forest management in different forest scenarios at tree and stand level. The work had the support from Government of Extremadura (Spain), the Terradrone company, RAIZ (Forest and Paper research Institute) and the Navigator Company.
