CEF Coordinator receives a "Scientific Award ULisboa/Santander Universidades”

The researcher Helena Pereira was the winner in the field of Agronomy.
The “Scientific Prize Ulisboa / Santander Universities" distinguishes the scientific research and encourages the publishing in high quality international journals . The criteria for choosing the winners have to do with the quality and quantity of their scientific research measured through the publication of international articles in Web-of-Science indexed Journals in the last five years, according to number of articles and number of authors, journal impact factor and number of article citations.
In the period of this edition of the prize, 2011-2015, the coordinator of the Forest Research Centre, of the School of Agriculture, published 112 articles that had 640 citations.
A research work that Helena Pereira summarizes as follows: "From forest to biorefineries: a bridge between chemistry, biology, properties and processing with a valorization approach."
