Official kickoff meeting of the new research project funded by FCT - Acacia4FirePrev
This project aims to exploit the biomass of acacias through the creation of new products. In this way it is possible to obtain an income from the control of this invasive species, also reducing the risk of rural fires.
The team includes researchers from the 3 research centres of the Instituto Superior de Agronomia, CEF - Centro de Estudos Florestais, CEABN InBIO and LEAF, together with CBPBI_Centro de Biotecnologia de Plantas da Beira Interior.
