Maria do Céu Silva was invited to attend the Workshop “Food Design: Innovative research strategies to address the threats of climate change in agri-food” that took place in Trieste (Italy) at 14 April, 2016. She made an oral presentation on “Resistance to coffee leaf rust as a strategy to cope with climate changes”. This workshop was organized by Illycaffè.
