With editorial coordination exclusively carried out by researchers from the Forest Research Centre (CEF), Springer Nature’s “Discover Forests” collection invites submissions on advances in landscape management and ecosystem services.
Springer Nature is launching a new series of open access journals, the journal “Discover Forests” being one of them, which brings together research from all fields relevant to forest science and forest engineering.
This collection invites contributions that provide a comprehensive overview of the latest innovations in landscape management planning. We welcome submissions that explore methodological advancements, novel applications, and broader implications for the provision of various ecosystem services. Both original research articles and in-depth reviews are welcome, with a particular interest in studies that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of landscape management planning.
The submission deadline for this collection is September 3, 2025. You can access the Topical Collection via the following link: link.springer.com
All the editors belong to the Forest Research Centre (CEF) – José G. Borges, Emin Zeki BAŞKENT, Susete Marques and Jordi Garcia-Gonzalo – which makes the CEF a benchmark in forestry research.
