“Dendrochronology – a tool for discovering trees in the context of climate change” Course

From September 23 to 26, the Instituto Superior de Agronomia (ISA) will host the specialization course “Dendrochronology – a tool for discovering trees in the context of climate change” (“Dendrocronologia – uma ferramenta à descoberta das árvores no contexto das alterações climáticas”).

This course provides a comprehensive and in-depth overview of tree growth and forest productivity, and their response to global climate change. The methodology will be dendrochronology, an important tool for assessing the ecological response of trees and forests to rising CO2, warming and climate variability with annual resolution.
