CEF/CEABN Seminars – Along the river: connectivity among riparian forest plants at taxonomic, functional, and genetic levels

On November 29th, the School of Agriculture will host another edition of the CEF/CEABN Seminars.

This edition features a presentation by Bartłomiej Surmacz from the Institute of Botany at Jagiellonian University, in Poland.

The presentation, entitled ‘Along the river: connectivity among riparian forest plants at taxonomic, functional, and genetic levels,’ focuses on a study that utilized a multi-aspect approach to investigate patterns of taxonomic, functional, and genetic diversity of riverside vegetation along the longitudinal gradient.

The study’s scope includes data collection in well-preserved hydrographic basins in southern Poland and a meta-analysis of literature data.
