The Forest Research Centre (CEF) of Instituto Superior de Agronomia (ISA) is opening a tender for the attribution of a Scholarship to PhD students within the scope of the project “AQUAPT – Climate change-proof ecosystems for sustainable management”.
The overall objective of the work plan is to examine the climate-induced vulnerability of freshwater fish in riparian ecosystems in semi-arid regions.
The grant is financed by the 3rd Promove Program, Fundação La Caixa, for the development of the work plan entitled “Climate-induced vulnerability of fish from semi-arid riparian ecosystems” and is under the guidance of Dr Ana Filipa Filipe.
The student should have an appetite for fieldwork, have a good understanding of ecological processes and basic knowledge of freshwater fish ecology. Knowledge about species conservation and/or water resources management is welcome.
The call is open till the 14th of February.
